Swap out the pasta for fresh zucchini noodles and add garlic and Parmesan for Garlic Parmesan Zoodles, an easy and delicious side dish or light dinner that’s ready in less than 15 minutes!
Zucchini season is here! Is anyone else pulling baseball bat sized zucchinis out of their gardens? We were a teeny tiny bit busy leading up to this summer (read: baby #2), so our garden is a little bit smaller this year. But we still have a ton of gorgeous zucchinis that we’re making some Sweet Zucchini Relish with and now also one of my new favorite zucchini dishes, these Garlic Parmesan Zoodles!
Make your own Strawberry Fruit Roll Ups with just a couple of ingredients and no added sugar! It’s the perfect fun from scratch treat for the kids!
Oh hey! I’m coming to you from a household of 5 now! Our little K2 made her grand appearance a couple of weeks ago! I’ve been sooo incredibly blessed to have fast, easy, safe births and even more blessed to now have two very healthy baby girls. Since Baby Clara was a surprise gender, I’m still wrapping my mind around being a mom of two girls; especially two girls who are so close in age. My husband may still be in a little bit of denial since this is our last baby, but we’re all doing extremely well. We even went out to dinner as a family the other night – Baby C’s 9th day outside the womb and we got ourselves together to go out to dinner. Life is good, to say the least.
This Avocado Pasta Salad is one that’ll be different than all the others on the cookout table. It’s creamy, bright, packed full of (hidden) spinach, and it just happens to be vegan friendly!
I love it when I’m looking for something quick and easy to make that’ll also be crowd pleasing and I stumble upon a recipe like this. This Avocado Pasta Salad was fast to make and wonderfully different than your standard cookout side. Plus, it’s packed full of nutrition without tasting like it’s trying to be healthy!
Summer to me means “Put it all on the grill”, like some corn and peppers to make this fresh colorful Grilled Corn and Pepper Salad!
Summer is in full swing in Oregon! Which means it’s the time of year that our grill trains all winter for. All those nights that my husband puts on his rain gear or winter coat and dutifully grills up some Mediterranean Grilled Chicken or some Balsamic Shiitake Mushroom Steaks is just winter training because a little rain or even snow can’t stop his love for his grill and grilled dinners. Then once summer hits, ohhh sweet sweet summer is when we grill everything. All the meats. All the veggies. All the fruit! Everything. And the fresh corn and peppers for this Grilled Corn and Pepper Salad are no exception!
These Strawberries and Cream Scones are perfect for any brunch and to celebrate all of those gorgeous summer strawberries!
Isn’t it wonderful all of the socially acceptable ways there are to eat dessert for breakfast? Like pancakes! They are literally pan fried cakes smothered in syrup. Scones? They’re basically a single serving biscuit-esq pastry. Which is what makes them so delightful! These Strawberries and Cream Scones with a simple glaze just scream outdoor summer mimosa brunch!
