We were reminiscing the Curried Steak Fajitas we made for dinner a couple of weeks ago but we needed a quick dinner before heading out to an early movie and wouldn’t have time to make the flour tortillas. Luckily, since the birth of Herman, we have an abundance of sourdough bread in the house, perfect for some steak sandwiches!
So we sauteed up some sliced steak, peppers, onions, and mushrooms just like the Curried Steak Fajitas, except we used cumin instead of curry. Then just a few slices of sourdough bread, topped with the sauteed deliciousness and a few slices of Tillamook extra sharp cheddar cheese to go into the oven.A few minutes in the oven to toast the bread and melt the cheese, and we were in business.A super quick and easy pre-movie dinner! Or to share at Angie’s Fiesta Friday!
