Flour Tortillas


It's easier than you might think to make your own Homemade Flour Tortillas! With just a few simple ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry, you can make your own soft, delicious tortillas!


- Flour - Salt - Baking Powder - Vegetable Oil - Warm Water

Combine flour, salt & baking powder. Mix well.   Slowly add water and oil - mix well, incorporating flour slowly until a rough dough forms.

Place on a floured surface and knead until a smooth dough forms. Divide in half until you have 16 balls of dough. Cover with a towel.  Let rest for 15 minutes.

Heat up pan or griddle. Flour surface and rolling pin. Roll out one by one.  Add one to the hot pan and begin rolling the next.

Cook each one for 30-45 seconds until the bottom surface begins to lightly brown.  Flip and cook other side. Remove from pan with tongs and stack on a plate.

Soft, fresh, and so perfect for all of your favorite Mexican dishes.
