Blue Cheese Dressing From Scratch

Creamy dressing from scratch!

  • 8 ounces Gorgonzola
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


  • Put the Gorgonzola in a small mixing bowl and mash it with a fork. Add the sour cream, buttermilk, mayonnaise, white wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper and whisk to combine. Will yield a touch over 2 cups. Serve or store in an airtight container, in the refrigerator, for up to 1 week. Recipe can easily be cut in half.
