Heat oil in a cast iron or large sauté pan on medium.
Add garlic and stir and cook for 60-90 seconds.
Add broccoli stir to coat with oil and garlic. Cook for another minute. Add garlic and onion powder and stock to pan, stir to combine and cover.
Let cook covered for 8 minutes.
Give a final stir and serve immediately.

Notes
Frozen vs. Fresh: While we prefer fresh, you can absolutely use frozen and just add the frozen florets to the hot pan. Because of the moisture that will be released from the frozen florets, you will only need about 1/4 cup of stock and cook for an additional minute or two. Customize: Add more onion powder. Less garlic. Or add some red pepper flakes for a little heat!
