Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  • Mix: Mix all ingredients into a bowl or jar and mix well!
  • Use or Store: Use immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 6 months.

Notes

Make A Large Batch
This recipe is great for a single serving of 1 1/2 - 2 lbs of taco meat, as it makes about 3 tablespoons and is equivalent to 1 store-bought packet. We like to triple the recipe to fill a small 4 oz mason jar to store it in our spice drawer!
