Homemade Focaccia


Our Easy Homemade Focaccia recipe is simpler to make than you might think while still being an impressive bread to serve from scratch!


Active Yeast | Warm Water Sugar | All-Purpose Flour Fine Ground Salt | Olive Oil Coarse Finishing Salt

Activate Yeast Whisk warm water and sugar together, then sprinkle the yeast on top and let sit about 5-10 minutes to activate.

Make Dough And Proof When the yeast is foamy, mix in the flour and salt until a sticky dough forms. Then add the dough to a large bowl with olive oil, cover and refrigerate overnight.

Second Rise Add oil to a rimmed baking sheet and once the dough has at least doubled in size, spread it out on the sheet. Gently cover and let rise for another 60-90 minutes.

Bake Add oil to your fingers and gently dimple the dough in even rows. Then brush with more oil, sprinkle with coarse salt and bake until golden brown.
