Everything Bagel Whipped Feta

A creamy spread for the everything bagel lover!

Ingredients

  • 3 oz feta cheese
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley minced
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt plain, optional

Instructions

  • Add everything to the bowl of a food processor or blender, and blend until creamy.
  • Serve!

Notes

The yield is approximately 1 1/4 cup and the nutritional value is per 1/4 cup.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. 
Make it Looser
This is a nice and thick creamy cheese spread, but if you would like it looser, you can add 1/4 cup of plain Greek yogurt.  Add additional salt to taste. 
Substitutions
Feta Cheese:  A plain feta is preferred, although you could add a more savory touch with a herb seasoned feta. 
Parsley: You can use 1 teaspoon of dried parsley in place of fresh.
Everything Bagel Seasoning:  We suggest making your own for this because store-bought seasoning has added salt, which this spread does not need because of the salty feta.
