Ingredients

Banana Soft Serve

  • 3 sliced frozen bananas
  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup milk skim, 1%, or 2%- whatever you have
  • 1 cup strawberry compote

Instructions

  • Freeze Bananas: Slice bananas and freeze for at least 2 hrs and up to 6 months. Store in your freezer to make this soft serve any time the craving hits!
  • Blend: Add frozen bananas and milk or milk alternative of choice to a Vitamix or blender and blend until creamy.
  • Serve: Dish and serve with strawberry compote!

Notes

Freezing Bananas
Whenever you have some brown bananas, slice them, add them to a parchment-paper-lined tray in the freezer to flash-freeze, then store them in a freezer-safe container for up to 6 months.
Substitutions
Milk: This is where you can add some additional flavors, too! Use your favorite flavored creamer in place of some or all of the milk. We use 2% because that's what's always in our fridge, but you can use anything you have, including a non-dairy milk.
Topping: Use your favorite ice cream toppers! Caramel Sauce, some of our Blackberry Jam, or even a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
