Easy Cherry Sorbet

It’s a cooling treat highlighting one of the best fruits of the summer! Our Easy Cherry Sorbet is made with just 3 ingredients and less sugar to be one of our new favorite summer desserts!

The fruit that we look forward to the most in the summertime is hands down, cherries! Especially here in the PNW, summer cherries are our favorite! We already have a cherry ice cream we adore, so we had to make a lighter, healthier, easier summer treat, too. Enter our super Easy Cherry Sorbet! It’s simple to make and highlights these little summer jewels without a ton of added sugar.

Ingredients Needed

a bowl of cherries, sugar, and lemon juice labeled.
  • Cherries – Fresh picked and pitted, or this recipe is also a great way to use frozen cherries.
  • Sugar – Just enough, which isn’t a lot! Cherries have so much natural sweetness already that you don’t need a ton of added sugar for a sweet sorbet.
  • Lemon Juice – This ties it all together and highlights the sweetness of the cherries perfectly.

SO Easy to Make

Blend

It truly does not get much easier than this 3 ingredient cherry sorbet! The hardest part of this recipe is pitting those fresh cherries, which is why a good cherry pitter is key for fresh-picked cherries. But once you have the cherries are pitted and then frozen for a few hours, then it’s just a matter of tossing it all into your trusty high-powered blender and giving it a blend!
