Serious wrap love with this one, friends! I am so excited to share this one with you all because oh. my. god. It is GOOD. Our Greek Chicken Salad Wraps are everything you love about a Greek salad but made with our Mediterranean grilled chicken and a dressing that’s taken up a notch with our Easy Homemade Tzatziki. All together, it makes for the most flavorful delicious sandwich wrap we’ve made yet and one that I will likely be making on repeat all year long!

Ingredients Needed

grilled sliced chicken on a plate, a bowl of cucumber, olives, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, oil, tzatziki, tortillas, salt and pepper in bowls and labeled.
  • Grilled Mediterranean Chicken – We may be biased, but we think this is the best chicken for this recipe, but of course, you can use another grilled chicken recipe too, or even some rotisserie chicken.
  • Romaine Lettuce – Our preferred lettuce for a crispy Greek salad, but you can of course use whatever you have.
  • Cucumber – English is usually our go-to but you can use whatever you have.
  • Kalamata Olives – Classic for a Greek salad, but black olives would be delicious too.
  • Red Onion – Just a touch for some sweet sharp flavor.
  • Cherry Tomatoes – We love the sweetness of cherry tomatoes but any tomato works great.
  • Tzatziki Sauce – While not normally found in a Greek salad, the cooling tangy sauce takes this Greek salad wrap to the next level, especially when you make it yourself!
  • Olive oil, Lemon juice, Apple cider vinegar, oregano, salt, and pepper – Everything you need for a super simple but super delicious dressing.
  • Flour Tortillas – For the wrap! Go full from scratch by making your own!
  • Feta Cheese – Required for a good Greek salad.

Easy to Make

Grill the Chicken

You can either grill up some chicken specifically for this wrap, or this is a great way to use some leftover chicken, too. But trust, me, these Greek Chicken Salad Wraps are so good, you’re going to want to make our Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Breasts for it!

a mason jar with olive oil and spices and then it all mixed together in a vinaigrette.

Mix the Dressing

Once your chicken is grilled, you can quickly make that super simple vinaigrette for the dressing by adding everything to a handy dandy mason jar and giving it all a good shake. This is great to make in advance too because it will store in the fridge for up to about a week.

Mix the Salad

Now it’s time to make the salad by adding it all to a bowl with that light bright dressing and give it a mix, and then finally that tangy creamy tzatziki to take it all to the next level!

Recipe Tips

Make Ahead!

This is a really great recipe to make parts ahead and assemble when ready for an incredibly fast and delicious meal! You can of course use store-bought tzatziki, but you can also easily make our Easy Homemade Tzatziki a few days in advance, and the vinaigrette will store well in the fridge, too. Also, save a large chicken breast or make a few extras of our Mediterranean Grilled Chicken and store it in the fridge to slice when ready to use. When done this way, you can have this delicious wrap ready in about 10 minutes!

Dress the salad with the chicken?

We prefer this recipe with the salad dressed and tzatziki added separately bc the grilled chicken is so flavorful and juicy on its own, but if using another leftover chicken or a rotisserie chicken, we suggest adding that chicken to the salad and dressing it all together.

Soften the tortillas

Be sure to soften the tortillas you want to use so that they are nice and pliable to get a good wrap. See how in the recipe notes!

How to get a tight wrap

Once your tortilla is softened, add the salad and chicken to the center of the tortilla. Then fold in each of the sides of the tortilla into the center and fold up the bottom of the tortilla, keeping those sides tucked in, and tuck the bottom of the tortilla tightly under the filling. Continue to roll up, keeping the sides tucked in, until the whole tortilla is wrapped up in a nice tight wrap.

Ingredients

Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  • Grill Chicken: Follow the Mediterranean Grilled Chicken recipe to grill chicken, let rest, and slice and set aside. This can be done a couple of days in advance. Or use leftover rotisserie chicken.
  • Prep Vinaigrette: Add dressing ingredients, olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, pepper, and oregano to a small bowl and whisk vigorously or a mason jar and seal and shake to emulsify.
  • Make Salad: Add lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and olives to a large bowl and mix. Pour on vinaigrette and mix well, add tzatziki and mix well, and finish with the feta cheese.
  • Soften Tortillas: Place tortillas on a plate with a damp paper towel between the 2nd tortilla and on top. Microwave for 15 seconds to steam slightly to soften and make more pliable.
  • Add Filling and Wrap: Add 1 cup of the salad to the center of a tortilla and top with 1/4 of the sliced chicken. Fold in the sides of the tortilla towards the center and then fold up the bottom of the tortilla, tightly tucking it under the salad. While keeping the sides of the tortilla tucked in, roll up until a tightly wrap is formed. Repeat with the remaining tortillas. Use a very sharp knife and gently slice in half, if desired.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Storage
Prepared wraps will last in the fridge for 3-4 days, although the tortilla may become a soggy. It’s best to assemble when ready to eat.
Make Ahead
This recipe is great to make ahead!  Make the grilled chicken up to 3 days in advance, the tzatziki 3-4 days in advance, and the vinaigrette up to 4 days in advance for a quick and easy assembly!
Substitutions
Tortillas:  Make them gluten-free by using your favorite gluten-free wraps!
Chicken: Use another favorite Mediterranean or simple grilled chicken, or you could also use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken.  Based on the flavor of your chicken already, you can choose to mix with the salad or not. We don’t think it needs it if using our Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Breasts recipe.
